Confidence, the final "C" of Center Stage: Advocating for Arts in Education, is here! This is the most important pillar of the 5 for me. In this episode, I talk about the areas where I lacked/lack self confidence.
Dwelling on my insecurities has always been easy for me. I bottle up and try to handle my problems internally. Whenever I joined twirling groups and band, I learned that other people were facing similar issues. We all started opening up to one another, and with wait for it... CONFIDENCE! The community we built was like no other, these people felt like home. We became confident in our talents and figured out how to manage stress and insecurities.
